Courses for obtaining the working profession “Security guard”

Sumy State University provides vocational training and advanced training in the profession 5169 “Security Guard” (1-4 category) on the basis of the license of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine series AE No. 52799 and the certificate of certification series RD No. 040871.

The training is conducted in accordance with the State Standard of Vocational Education 5169-OK.74.60-2014.

Vocational training includes general vocational training, vocational theoretical training and vocational practical training (on-the-job training, internship). Upon completion of training, state qualification certification is conducted, which results in the qualification of “security guard” of the appropriate category (1-4) and the issuance of a state-standard certificate of assignment (upgrade) of working qualifications.

Requirements for future security guards:

1) Age: at least 18 years old upon graduation;

2) Restrictions defined in accordance with Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On Security Activities” dated 22.03.2012 No. 4616-IV, namely

– are not registered with the health care authorities for mental illness, alcoholism or drug addiction;

– do not have an outstanding or unexpunged criminal record for intentional crimes;

– do not have any restrictions imposed by the court on the performance of their functional duties;

– registered at the place of residence in accordance with the procedure established by law.

 

Documents to be submitted for study:

– application (filled in at the university);

– a copy of a document on complete or basic general secondary education;

– a copy of the passport (1, 2 pages and registration);

– a copy of the identification number.

For advanced training (2-4 category), a copy of the certificate of assignment (upgrade) of the security guard’s working qualification of the corresponding category is attached to the package of documents.

The training is provided on a contractual basis at the expense of individuals and legal entities on the basis of concluded agreements.

The documents are submitted to the Center for Professional and Postgraduate Education in aud. T-115 (technological building, 2nd floor).
