Exam to determine the level of proficiency in the state language

Based on the decision of the National Commission for State Language Standards, Sumy State University was designated as an authorized institution (organization) that conducts exams for the level of proficiency in the state language.

EXAM SCHEDULE

At present, exams are held every Tuesday and Thursday at the Library and Information Center of SumDU (2 Romensko-Korsakov St., room BIC-214, 2nd floor) for two sessions per day: 13:00-13:30, 14:00-14:30. Candidates should arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of the examination.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION TO THE EXAM

– an identification document (passport, driver’s license, electronic passport in the Diia application);

– a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) on a flash drive, if you have chosen this method of authorization;

– COVID certificate or other document according to the list.

We inform that Sumy State University, as an authorized institution (organization) conducting the proficiency exam in the state language, does not provide explanations regarding the evaluation of candidates’ exam papers, decisions of the Commission on establishing exam results, procedures for filing complaints, and appealing exam results.

The main purpose of authorized institutions (organizations) is to ensure proper material, technical, and organizational conditions for conducting exams to determine the level of proficiency in the state language. Their duty is to identify candidates before the start of the exam and oversee the technical conduct of the exam session.
