Postgraduate Education Center of Sumy State University (to 2009 – faculty of specialists retraining) was formed in 1994 to improve special education and vocational training of specialists by strengthening, expanding and updating their professional knowledge and skills; to give them an opportunity to get another profession, speciality based on previously gained educational qualification and practical experience.
The main focus of Postgraduate Education Center is the retraining of specialists with higher education and advanced students of higher educational establishments of III or IV level of accreditation for obtaining the second higher education with full-time, part-time and distance learning.
